Since moving overseas to Okinawa, we have been limited on how we can decorate. When renting a house you can’t paint and hanging things on the walls is difficult because they made of solid cement. So enter the vinyl wall decals.

Instead of spending hundreds more dollars on purchasing decals made by others, I decided to take that money and invest in a Silhouette Cameo which I could then use to make my own wall decals.

The first decal I wanted to make was a Palm Tree for my daughter’s Jungle Theme Nursery. I wanted a very tall and wide one, but the cameo seemed only able to cut 12 inches across. So to get around this limitation, I took the image and set it up to be cut across several pieces of vinyl that would then be pieced together.

With the help of my husband the decal was installed and I was pleased beyond punch with the results.
