If you are like me you have wandered down the Protien bar aisle in the grocery and thought “Wow – they are expensive.” So I decided to try my hand at making my own Protien bites to snack on when hungry or after a workout. 

Luckily I had all the ingredients I wanted to use already in my pantry. 


I started with 2 scoops of the Protien powder. 


I then added 1 cup of Almond meal, 1/2 cup of almond butter, 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips, and 1/4 cup of maple syrup.

I found using a fork to mix to mix it all up was the easiest way to go.

 

The end result was about 17 balls that were perfect snacks for any “Hangry” moments.
